This Friday, you can hear music from Sophia's Fall at North Star Music Cafe in Portland, ME!
If you are in or near Portland Maine, please join us on Friday, August 8th at 8:00 PM at the North Star Music Cafe! We will be hosting a 2-hour preview and fundraiser for the NYMF production of Sophia's Fall, which will feature live jazz, performances of music from the show and a sneak preview of the FULLY ROCKING arrangements that we've been working on for the production in September. Local musical theatre performers Abby Godfrey and Joseph Valliere will perform the show tunes, and Rachel Griffin and Andy Scherzer will be take the stage for fine jazz. There will be a cash bar and a $20 cover charge to benefit the production.
The first twenty people in the door will receive a newly pressed CD (literally hot off the press) containing the five demo tracks from our recent trip to the recording studio and cover art from the studio of mega-talented concept illustrator Chad Beatty.
